AC New Grid Access
The new innovation is based on the concept of two smaller platform modules providing the same rated power in total and at the same time offering higher flexibility in platform design. These modules can be implemented on the wind turbine foundation or independently upon customer choice. Different types of defined platform configurations and options are available to meet the needs of the customer-, allowing high flexibility and to increase availability.
DC New Grid Access
The new 2nd generation DC grid access solution is being developed to offer a breakthrough in simplifying today’s offshore DC converters, making them smaller and easier to install and to maintain in an offshore environment. Combined with the benefits of DC cables like their high power density the new DC grid access becomes the most cost effective solution for large power offshore wind farms more than 80km away from the grid connection point.
