Design basis for the actual reference design was the highly standardized German Konvoi fleet, excelling through outstanding performance and reliability.
Today Siemens is turnkey supplier of the Conventional Island of the Olkiluoto3 nuclear power plant currently under construction. Recent experiences and lessons learned gained in this project are continuously incorporated into our generic reference Conventional Island designs.
Major features of our actual design assuring highest performance and reliability are:

- Generator SGen-4000W - Moisture separation/ 2-stage reheating including moisture pre-separation
