The SST-050 is a single-stage, backpressure steam turbine in which the flow passes axially through the blading. It is mainly used as a power source for pumps or fans and especially as a stand-by unit with quick-start capability.
To help you make your operating assets more profitable, we offer the latest technologies to enhance your operating plant performance, reliability, availability and flexibility.
In our technical training participants can acquire, brush up, and update knowledge of turbo machines and learn about state-of-the-art technologies in the turbo machine sector. They may as well receive specific information on the design, function, and control and maintenance of individual machines.
Our training programs are intended for training of customer’s personnel within a wide range of subjects, e.g. basic machine design, basic principals of operation and particular maintenance routines. Depending upon the selected training, knowledge transfer will take place either in form of theoretical instruction or in a combination of theoretical and practical instruction. In practical training units participants may put newly acquired theoretical knowledge into practice on training machines.
Our training courses vary in duration from two to four days, depending upon the selected subject and type of machine, and take place in our Frankenthal Training Center. In-house training is also possible and subject to prior checking of local conditions and facilities.
The above-mentioned topics are characteristic of a combined theoretical and practical training. Generally, Siemens can work with the customer to adapt training topics to the customer’s individual needs.
