Description

With the Power System Simulator (PSS®) product suite, Siemens PTI provides a range of analysis tools, including our premier product PSS®E for electrical transmission planning, which has been significantly upgraded with modern graphics, e.g. integration with modeling tools.

Since the mid 1980s we have also supplied utility and industry planning software and currently offer PSS®SINCAL as our strategic product in this field. Besides electrical networks, PSS®SINCAL also is capable of dealing with gas, water and district heating system planning tasks.

Siemens PTI has also developed tools for maintaining and integrating transmission operations with transmission planning including the integration of real-time information to our PSS®ODMS Operational Database Management System software that is fully CIM (Common Information Model) compliant.

Product Information

SIGRADE

Program for Overcurrent-Time Protection Coordination

SIGRADE is a software program for overcurrent protection coordination for high, medium and low voltage networks.

It allows the selection of grading paths and the drawing tripping characteristics of fuses and protection relays into a log-log current-time diagram.

SIGRADE guides the user from an initial simple sketch of the project through the collected information and data to short-circuit calculations, supports the user in developing a protection concept and documents the complete relay coordination of overcurrent protection devices.
