The Telegyr 5700 RTU combines innovative hardware architecture, a comprehensive protocol library, a wide array of I/O modules, advanced communication abilities (including support for encryption and HTML publishing), the best configuration tool in the market and an enviable track record for reliability, to create the premier medium to large point-count RTU.
SICAM StationManager II (the brains of the 5700 RTU) combines extensive IED integration capabilities, an IEC 1131 compliant programming interface, some of the best configuration and diagnostic tools in the industry, and various advanced features like WAN support, data encryption and HTML server capabilities, to make it a perfect Substation Data Concentrator. The StationManager II supports features normally found in RTUs and PLCs: 1ms Time Stamping, SOE handling, Momentary, Change Detect, Select-Before-Execute controls, and a IEC1131 compliant PLC programming interface, to ensure you don’t sacrifice any SCADA and automation functionality.

The SICAM StationManager II offers a number of new enhancements to the original StationManager:
Configure, Don’t Program. The StationManager’s Configuration Management Program (CMP Version 10) is specifically designed to eliminate the complexities of IED integration and make the process of data selection, manipulation and mapping an easy and intuitive task. Once you’re done, simply use the automatic documentation feature to generate a configuration report in either Word or Excel.
Maintenance Made Easy. The StationManager II provides an array of diagnostic tools that can be employed locally or remotely for commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting purposes. Use a standard Internet browser to access our Virtual Maintenance Panel™. VMP allows you to view both real-time and historical data – everything from Communication Statistics to the values of IED data. A local LCD and keypad allows you to access all the same data locally, or use the Virtual LCD function embedded in CMP to access the same data via a dial-up link. The StationManager II can also page you with a “smart” alarm containing detailed event information or diagnostic warning.
Do-It-Yourself Enabled. Need to integrate a new IED into your system? With CMP, you have the ability to create an IED device description that details the data available in the IED and store this in CMP’s IED catalog™. You can also create the device description in Excel and import this into the IED catalog. Once there, it’s a simple matter of dragging-and-dropping your new IED into any configuration.
Scalable. Support for distributed IO Modules, automation programming, management of operational and non-operation data, multiple masters, serial-, LAN- and protocols, processing load sharing with peer StationManagers, and virtually unlimited port expansion via our innovative Virtual Client / Server technology, ensures the StationManager can be expanded to keep pace with your needs.
More than a Data Concentrator. The StationManager II supports features normally found in RTUs and PLCs: 1ms Time Stamping, SOE handling, Momentary Change Detect, Select-Before-Execute controls, and a IEC1131 compliant PLC programming interface , to ensure you don’t sacrifice any SCADA and automation functionality.
