Power Equipment Centers (PECs)
Siemens Energy Packaged Power Solutions (PPS) designs and manufactures power equipment centers (PECs), prefabricated modular skid-mounted enclosures for low- and medium-voltage switchgear, motor control center equipment, SCADA and other auxiliary equipment.
As a fully integrated power distribution system, our PECs are completely engineered, coordinated, manufactured, assembled and production tested at the Siemens facility.
With over 20 years of experience in delivering PECs to utility and industrial customers, PPS is equipped with the knowledge and capability to deliver almost any complex system requirement.

Siemens PPS products are built to applicable industry standards ANSI, IEEE, NEMA and NPFA.
Structural Professional Engineer calculations are provided with each project.

Power Equipment Center Types
Siemens PPS offers two types of PECs:
- Crimped plate (SCP)
- Interlocking panel (SIP).
SCP PEC features include:
- Mild-steel material
- Stairs and platforms available for all configurations
- Custom wall cutouts for HVAC, cable tray and bus duct.
SIP PEC features offered:
- Stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized sheet steel (G90) material
- Switchgear and VFD rear-access, hinged covers or removable panels available.
