All Trainings
With the aid of the power plant simulator, participants can familiarize themselves with the workflows encountered in a power plant. The simulator - considered similar to a flight simulator for pilots - is an efficient way to see how a gas power plant works. Practical experiments conducted under the supervision of a trainer help participants put themselves in the position of a real operator. A prior knowledge of power plant operations management fundamentals is required. On successful completion of this course, participants should have a solid basic understanding of the operation of a gas turbine power plant.

Improvement of operation knowledge and behavior through intensive and interactive practice on the power plant simulator during system malfunction. This training can contribute to reduce or potentially avoid unscheduled outages, minimize damages, extend equipment lifetime and improve profitability in changing market requirements.
This hands-on training is designed to track and handle problems in a systematic way. Handling of abnormal scenarios and troubleshooting under stress is essential for power plant personnel. Personnel manage issues, protect investment, and reduce accidents and stress related matters to keep your power plant running. The drill can support plant safety and enhance fast and effective interaction. We use state of the art plant simulators and practical cases. The training can help to avoid trips and reduce shutdown periods.
The training package Fast RampUp and Qualification coaches the participants for power plant operation. Intensive and interactive discussions and exercises are topics of the first weeks' classroom training. Demonstrations using power plant simulators facilitates and deepens the gained knowledge. Practical power plant operation using highly developed simulators pushes trainees -- this is content of the second part of the training, the simulator training. On successful completion of these training, participants should be better prepared for competent power plant operation.
The rent a simulator concept gives you full freedom to train your employees on site. In addition to your own ideas, we will provide you with training scenarios that you could use, based on a state of the art power plant simulator. The power plant simulators can be used via the internet like an online computer game. Remote support can be provided if requested.

There are 62 standard training programs. There are combinations comprised of the various GT model series, Assembly, Maintenance, Commissioning, Operation with different fuels, Vibration Diagnosis and results, including related documentation for the above mentioned technical departments.
The Training Center offers you a comprehensive and competent training for daily maintenance of Steam Turbine sets and Generators, including all Auxiliary Systems. Trainings are examined and regularly updated by qualified training personnel with years of experience. There are five standard training programs for steam turbines and three standard training programs for Generators. The programs are comprised of standard training modules for Assembly, Maintenance, and Operation, including related documentation for the mentioned technical departments.
With demonstrations and visualizations supported by power plant simulators the participants learn fundamentals of controllers used in power plants. They gain a deep understanding of different operation principles, controller influences and detailed controller functions.
Participants learn the basic intent of the hardware and software concept of the gas and steam turbine controller, and the principle of controller function and operation. Additionally, the training provides enhanced knowledge and abilities for maintenance and troubleshooting of the gas turbine controller.
On completion of this course, participants should be able to better perform activities required for maintenance of Siemens instrumentation and control (I&C) and automation system used in power plants. They will learn how to detect and localize issues in the components of the HMI system, and attempt to eliminate these issues, if applicable, using simple inputs and use of the hotline support. Project-specific files in the engineering system can also be addressed.
This training with lab work helps participants understand components design and function. It includes hands-on comprehensive analysis, configuration and parameter assignment in Profibus system communication. Participants learn how to analyze alarms and fault messages assisted with tools, trouble shooting manuals and handbooks. They will gain SFS/SEE software and hardware knowledge.
