Asset performance management
Asset Performance Management with RCAM Dynamic is a leading-edge methodology which combines asset data, subject matter expertise and Siemens’ several years of experience on assets.
This is in order to assess and quantify the asset condition, performance and associated risk.
Key Features of RCAM Dynamic
RCAM Dynamic combines data showing the assets´ current state, with general nameplate data and further manual data relating to the assets´ past performance.
RCAM Dynamic analyses the data to model the impact of ageing and predicts the assets´ future health and its remaining life. As a result it is possible to compute an Asset Health Index (AHI) for every asset within an electrical grid. Those indices are used to calculate current and future failure probability rates for each individual asset.
The AHIs consider the following five demensions:
The Overall result is a comprehensive asset mangement approach, relevant at all stages of the energy cycle: from generation, through transmission to distribution networks.
